Default Time Window Expired

Does anyone else notice that an order goes into "Time Window Expired - Arrival" if the tech has not logged in at the very beginning of the scheduled service window? If we put in a 2-4 hour window, I would think the expiration would flag after the end of the window. Honestly, to avoid this, I'm guessing most techs reschedule the window if they are running a bit behind - but this shouldn't have to be the case.

If you put a 4 hr time window in, like 12-4 pm, then the tech needs to show up and log in by 2 pm or you will get that status.

Thanks for the reply. Ive understood the causes, but still makes no sense - if we set a window, say 12-2, and the tech arrives at 1:15 - they are still on-time. I believe that Time Window - Expired should kick-in at the 2:01 mark, not half way through a scheduled window.

I agree. The window is arrival time ie: 12-4. Can show up at 3:45 and still be on time. You are not late, It should expire at 4 PM
