Default Uploading Pictures

I am being told by my men that you can not upload a picture to the Service Order unless you are completing the order. We should be able to upload pictures to an order when that order can not be completed due to job conditions. This will help when a member calls to say that we didn't do the install because we didn't know what we are doing. Also, it would help us when we arrive at a members home and no one answers the door or no one is home. We can upload a picture of the home, which will be time stamped, proving we were at the home. Just a thought.

Those are good ideas. It could even prompt for a photo for each of the cases you outlined.

Rich,

The IVR solves for showing up though you can make that call from anywhere. Uploading a photo to show proof is a good idea. I am not sure what's involved to implement this change but I will talk to my product team about this.

Stay warm!

Frank, if the GPS on my phone is turned on when checking in/out...is SL recording that information? (it's shows my location on a map above the Check-In button) Is that proof enough, or would people be able to falsify that info?

I always assumed that was a backhand way of proving we are there.

Although I personally have my GPS turned off to save battery.

Actually it was never discussed as a way to act like big brother....On the company level owners may want to check in on their Pros whereabouts...
